I haven't blogged here in a long time. In that time, amazing things have happened, and terrible things have happened. Through all of it, however, I've still held true to myself. I remain me, though I'm not nearly as depressed or afraid of change as I used to be a few years ago.
I'm about to graduate from university, move away from my family and best friends, cross the continent, and start a new chapter in my life. I'm a software developer, and I've made a commitment to become a full-fledged professional in my field.
However, I realize that, like an idiot, I didn't keep my name segregated from this pseudonym, so anyone who Googles my real name will see this. Anonymity is easy to get rid of, but almost impossible to recover later. As a result, people can still see a pretty angsty, immature part of my life that, while my own writing, isn't an accurate representation of me, and I can't really do anything about that. Which isn't to say that everything I've done here has been that bad, but my "aggressively anti-religion" streak and my conflicts with ~CaptainQuirk (with whom I've since reconciled) are not moments I'm especially proud of.
If you're reading this because you stumbled across it while Googling my real name, know that although I did write everything you see here, it spanned high school and my first year of university, and it was a pretty crazy time in my life. Besides that, I had only seen a sliver of life. Since then, a lot has changed.
That being said, aside from pictures of myself and references to my name, I will not be deleting content from this account. Although I'm not thrilled with everything I've written here, this journal and the poetry I've written are still a part of me, and represent a pivotal time in my life. And it would be a pointless endeavour anyway, since nothing is ever truly gone and forgotten once it's been on the Internet.
This will be my final entry on DA, give or take. I've made some pretty awesome friends here, and I enjoyed my time here back when I frequented DA. It's still an amazing place with an amazing community of talented people, and I have nothing against it. I just want to start fresh. If I begin blogging again, it will most likely be under a different pseudonym in a different corner of the Internet. I'll definitely try to let people know if and when it happens.
All the best, everyone. Never lose your spark.

Now... go out there and get as many people as you can, before they get you!

"So then I'm crying and she's crying and she's giving me the whole 'it's not you it's me thing' and then she turns into a wolf and goes out the window."
How did he get a snowboard whilst being fired out of a cannon anyway? I mean, he was shot into Ice Cap from Carnival Night, right? Where'd the board come from?
I must agree. Sonic 3 was incredible. So was Sonic and Knuckles, and the combination of them both. There were just so many different routes to take! Sidescrollers never do that! Or all those large areas you could fly around in with Tails... *sigh* so good.
